West Bengal Tribal Development Co-operative Corporation Ltd.(WBTDCC Ltd.), as the Apex Body of LAMPS, was formed and registered on 26-03-1976. However, the W.B.T.D.C.C.Ltd. started proper functioning from 1978. Prior to the functioning of WBTDCC Ltd. the LAMPS were registered and supervised by the Assistant Registrar of Co-operative Societies of concerned ranges.

Agricultural Science; Fisheries Science; Dairy Science; Veterinary and Animal Husbandary; Horticulture; Home Science and Agricultural Engineering have been developed at SAUs and other organisations. This portal provides 24/7 services for online access to all the teachers and students learners in the field of agricultural education. :- mKisan SMS Portal for farmers enables all central and State government organizations in agriculture and allied sectors to give information/services/advisories to farmers by SMS in their language, preference of agricultural practices and location. :-One Stop Shop For Farmers. :- A Centrally Sponsored Scheme of MIDH has been launched for the holistic development of horticulture in the country during XII plan. The scheme, which has taken take off from 2014-15, integrates the ongoing schemes of National Horticulture Mission, Horticulture Mission for North East & Himalayan States, National Bamboo Mission, National Horticulture Board, Coconut Development Board and Central Institute for Horticulture, Nagaland. :- Directorate of Economics And Statistics, :- Farmer Registration :- The Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR) is an autonomous organisation under the Department of Agricultural Research and Education (DARE), Ministry of Agriculture and Farmers Welfare , Government of India. Formerly known as Imperial Council of Agricultural Research, it was established on 16 July 1929 as a registered society under the Societies Registration Act, 1860 in pursuance of the report of the Royal Commission on Agriculture. The ICAR has its headquarters at New Delhi. :- The first KVK was established in 1974 at Puducherry. The number of KVKs has risen to 645 and 106 more KVKs are to be established in the newly created districts and some larger districts. The KVK scheme is 100% financed by Govt. of India and the KVKs are sanctioned to Agricultural Universities, ICAR institutes, related Government Departments and Non Government Organizations (NGOs) working in Agriculture. :- The EMS is Web enabled online monitoring system for Monthly Progress Report (MPR) under ATMA Programme. All the components of this scheme would be monitored for Physical and Financial progress. The states have to login by choosing their State and Password for State level and for District level State and District and District password.For Sameti, State and district as Sameti for which targets and Performance are to be entered. It will make it easier for the farmers to avail crop insurance and coverage. It has been approved by the Union cabinet in January 2016 and I all set to be in effect from June, 2016, which also happens to be the Kharif season. :-Farm mechanization is an important element of modernization of agriculture. Farm Productivity is positively correlated with the availability of farm power coupled with efficient farm implements and their judicious utilization. Agricultural mechanization not only enables efficient utilization of various inputs such as seeds, fertilizers, plant protection chemicals and water for irrigation but also it helps in poverty alleviation by making farming an attractive enterprise. The Department of Agriculture and Cooperation is following multi-pronged strategy for promoting Farm Mechanization. :- Responsible for national policies and programmes aimed at achieving agricultural growth. The NDC resolved that agricultural development strategies must be reoriented to meet the needs of farmers and called upon the Central and State governments to evolve a strategy to rejuvenate agriculture. The NDC reaffirmed its commitment to achieve 4 per cent annual growth in the agricultural sector during the 11th plan :- The Department of Animal Husbandry and Dairying (AH&D) - now renamed as Department of Animal Husbandry Dairying & Fisheries (DADF) is one of the Departments in the Ministry of Agriculture and came into existence w.e.f. 1st February, 1991, by converting two divisions of the Department of Agriculture and Cooperation namely Animal Husbandry and Dairy Development into a separate Department. The Fisheries Division of the Department of Agriculture and Cooperation and a part of the Ministry of Food Processing Industries were later transferred to this Department w.e.f. 10th October, 1997.

Madhur Sneha:- :-The Hon'ble Chief Minister Ms Mamata Banerjee launched the Eastern India's first and country's most modernized "Human Milk Bank" in SSKM Hospital in August 2013. It is equipped with pasteurization and most advanced milk collection, screening, processing, testing and storage facilities. The project is named "Madhur Sneha".Babies who are prematurely born, or are of very low birth weight, or those babies whose mothers are unable to feed directly can be recipients of banked milk from "Madhur Sneha".

Karmashree:- :-Karmashree is a combination of several other schemes under the Labour department. People who work for 20 days in a project, will be given work for another 20 days in another project," Addressing a rally, Hon'ble Chief Minister said, "Dignity of labour must be respected. No job is inferior.". The government would train 10 lakh youths for skill development, through 500 Karma Tirtha marketing hubs, where poor people would get shops free of cost, that were being set up in the state. :-With a view to promote sustainable entrepreneurship and generate employment, the West Bengal government has set up Karmatirtha a one-stop shop allowing entrepreneurs to market their products directly to buyers. Karmatirtha is a scheme to strike a synergy between the abundance of natural resources and the availability of a skilled workforce and thereby move toward sustainable entrepreneurship. The State government will be providing the requisite infrastructure support including training and finance, allowing individuals, self-help groups, co-operative enterprises, artisans, and weavers to avail of the benefits of the scheme. The objective is to set up at least one  Karmatirtha in every block of the State.

Lokprasar Prakalpo:- :-A new project under the title Lokprasar Prakalpo has been introduced at the initiative of the Department of Information and Cultural Affairs and at the directive of Honorable Chief Minister. The main objectives of the project are - (I) to bestow dignity on folk artistes as such by issuing them identity cards, (2) to extend and disseminate the traditional folk forms of Bengal, (3) to revive the nearly-extinct folk-forms of art and culture and (4) to upgrade the socio economic conditions of artists associated with folk culture.
